1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of SEO consultancy services by Uncover SEO Consulting (“we”, “us”, “our”) to clients (“Client”, “you”).
By engaging our services or using our website (www.uncoverseo.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Uncover SEO Consulting operates as an independent UK-based consultancy.
3. Scope of Services
We provide SEO consultancy services including, but not limited to:
- Technical SEO audits
- Semantic SEO strategy
- Local SEO optimisation
- Content recommendations
- Keyword research
- On-page optimisation guidance
The exact scope of work will be defined in a written proposal or agreement prior to commencement.
4. No Guarantee of Results
SEO is a strategic marketing service influenced by search engine algorithms and third-party platforms.
We do not guarantee:
- Specific rankings
- First-page positions
- Specific traffic volumes
- Guaranteed revenue increases
We commit to applying professional expertise and best practices.
5. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and timely information
- Grant necessary access to websites and tools
- Implement agreed recommendations (if implementation is client-side)
- Cooperate throughout the project
Failure to cooperate may impact results and timelines.
6. Fees & Payment Terms
- Fees will be outlined in a proposal or invoice.
- Payment is due via bank transfer unless otherwise agreed.
- Invoices must be paid within 7 days unless stated otherwise.
- Late payments may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Services may be suspended if payment is overdue.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of consultancy services:
- Fees paid are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- Monthly retainers require 30 days’ written notice to cancel unless otherwise agreed.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed:
- The Client retains ownership of their website and business materials.
- SEO strategies, documentation, templates, and frameworks remain the intellectual property of Uncover SEO Consulting.
- Deliverables become the Client’s property once full payment is received.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential information private and not disclose it to third parties unless required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:
- Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client in the preceding 3 months.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. Third-Party Platforms
We are not responsible for:
- Changes to Google algorithms
- Third-party hosting failures
- Website downtime outside our control
- Third-party software or plugins
12. Termination
Either party may terminate a service agreement with written notice as specified in the proposal.
Outstanding fees remain payable upon termination.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be published on our website.
